Distant Sunset

Lovely mountain sunset in the distance, shot in the hinterlands of Cannes, Antibes and Nice, at the Côte d’Azur, French Riviera. The photograph shows an autumn sunset in the Alpes Maritimes, not far from the coast. Shot just before the sun’s disappearing behind the hills, it still managed to throw its last rays through the leafless trees in front of us.
